LATEST PLANIT FUSION RELEASE PROVIDES NEW LEVELS OF IMAGING REALISM FOR BATHROOM SUPPLIERS

 

Fusion Version 15 to be launched at KBB 2008 – with major new functionality for bathroom suppliers

 





 

 

 

Leading KBB sector design and visualisation software company Planit International has signalled a major drive into the bathrooms sector with the launch of Version 15 of Planit Fusion on stand K44, hall 17 at KBB 2008, which takes place at the NEC, Birmingham between 2-5 March.

 

Through close collaboration with many leading producers including Twyfords, Villeroy & Boch, Jacuzzi, Roca and Showerlux, Planit Fusion now offers comprehensive up-to-the-minute data on an ever expanding range of bathroom and spa manufacturers' products – mirroring the system's well-established capabilities in the kitchen and bedroom sectors.

 

Regularly updated manufacturer data provides users with stunning photorealistic 3D images in order to design layouts for bathrooms with the same superior presentation quality that Planit Fusion is known for throughout the KBB industry.

 

Further new features in Planit Fusion 15 include state-of-the-art tiling and surface covering functionality. Two new options have been added to the toolbar and file menu to allow instant access and importing of 3D models from Google Sketchup, a continually-expanding warehouse of more than 9 million items, each of which can be easily incorporated into designs and manipulated in the same way as other Planit Fusion entities.

 

 

Other enhancements with version 15 include the introduction of new visualisation functionality that not only provides higher resolution and more lifelike image rendering and control, but also significantly faster operation – allowing users to quickly and easily generate stunning photo-realistic representations of their designs without the need for painstaking positioning of additional light sources.

 

 

 

The software also updates existing image views without dead screen time, to provide an uncluttered representation of the room. This feature allows for seamless image updating as amendments are made. Additional productivity enhancements include new perspective navigation and 'walk through' capabilities, as well as the ability to export screen images as jpeg files for inclusion in customer PowerPoint presentations, for example.
