NEW OPTION ON PLANIT FUSION ALLOWS IMPORTING OF 3D MODELS FROM GOOGLE SKETCHUP

 

The ability to import and manipulate thousands of 3D models from the Google 3D Warehouse™, is a key feature available with version 15 – the latest release of Planit Fusion's leading design and visualisation software for the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom industry – providing even greater flexibility for the user.

 

 

 

 

A further example of the software's continual enhancements in features and functionality, Planit Fusion now has two new options on its toolbar and file menu, allowing users to instantly import Google SketchUp™ models from the Google 3D Warehouse™ and easily incorporate these into designs where they can be manipulated in the same way as other entities.

 

 

 

Google SketchUp™ provides a powerful yet easy-to-learn tool for creating and modifying 3D models. These models can then be posted to the Google 3D Warehouse™, a service to upload, edit, search and download 3D models. Once imported the files unit attributes can be set including as name, order code, description and dimensions. Once within a design, Google SketchUp™ units can be saved and recalled using Planit Fusion's Grouped Unit feature.

 

Further exciting features in version 15 of Planit Fusion include the introduction of new visualisation functionality to provide faster and more lifelike image rendering. State of the art tiling and surface covering functionality and the very latest catalogues from leading bathroom manufacturers will also be highlighted – as part of a major drive in this fast-developing sector of the KBB industry.
