We have introduced more than 50 new features and enhancements within the latest Fusion version. Version 17 will be launched during March 2010, and will be supplied to all Fusion Supported customers that attend a Fusion Care Seminar at the KBB. A staggered rollout will then follow beginning in May to be completed by the end of August 2010. Some of the key features available to you within this new version are:

Create and Play Movies

Produce ‘guided tours’ of your customers’ dream rooms using Fusion Design’s movie creation tool. This also allows the movies to be played on-screen directly or, alternatively, the movie fi le can be instantly sent to your customers to be played independently on PCs, compatible iPods and mobile phones.




Predefined Printing Options
Using task-specific layouts, automatically preview or print your worktops, tiles, or installation symbols with just a single click of the mouse. These layouts display filtered views, showing only the graphical information relevant to the selected option. Also, designers can print plan and elevation views alongside itemised listings detailing all of the products displayed, or with a key to installation symbols.



Advanced Product Filtering
Identify the exact product you’re looking for from any of your manufacturers’ catalogues using Fusion Design’s advanced product filtering facility. This powerful mechanism allows you to search for any combination of product name, order code, description, dimensions or handing and will consistently save you time, without the need to refer to your manufacturers’ product manuals.




Flexible Perspective View
When viewing a room in perspective view, Fusion Design can automatically hide certain walls and associated products so that the best possible overall view of your design can be achieved quickly and easily. This facility is particularly useful when viewing smaller kitchen and bathroom designs.




OTHER NEW FEATURES AND ENHANCEMENTS

Display Available Products – Automatically remove all unavailable products from Fusion’s add palette based upon the currently defined style options.

Room Style Preview – Fusion Design can now display all of your room style choices together in a single representative image. Designers and customers alike can now easily envisage how their selections will appear together. For example, how a particular door style will look when designed with a specific worktop material and finish.

Enhanced Fixture Editing – when modifying any walls within your room, Fusion Design automatically maintains the connection to any previously adjoining walls. Any fixtures, tiles and installation symbols will continue to be placed correctly on any walls that have been modified. Also, three new patterns can be applied to individual walls within the plan view to represent different types of brickwork.

Worktop Editing – Create even more complex worktop shapes using new tools with Fusion Design’s worktop editing facility.
